How can I best prepare to buy a home?

If you are planning ahead, you’re already doing yourself a favor. The biggest pieces to preparing to buy a home are:
1. ensuring your finances are in order and obtaining preapproval
2. making sure you work with a great real estate agent to guide you through the buying process.
